Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15:19 are sobering.
He reminds us that Christianity is not validated by what we gain on earth. If our hope in Christ stops at material success, then our faith is tragically small.
Christ did not die and rise again so we could merely “do well” in this life.
He came to give us hope that outlives this world.

“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” 1 Corinthians 15:19 (KJV)

When your hope is fixed beyond this world:
>You are not shaken when things don’t work out.
>You don’t measure God’s faithfulness by material outcomes.
>You can endure loss without losing faith.
>You live with purpose, not pressure.

A believer whose hope is eternal lives differently. They hold earthly things loosely and heavenly promises firmly.
They pursue excellence without idolizing success. They trust God even when obedience costs them comfort.

Christ is not a tool for earthly gain, He is our eternal reward.
